Wow! Cadets from Charleston can really be fun. This past weekend was ES training and camping at Beechfork State Park in Huntington, WV. It was a blast. The weather was awesome, sunny and hot during the day and mid 50’s at night, just like we ordered. Much tasking was accomplished putting three cadets and one senior member even closer to their GTM3 qualification. And of course, we cannot forget the 5 mile hike on Lost Trail. That was a blast! It was very pretty and something of a challenge for the older generation but I can report that all survived and will do it again in the future. Cadets Brad Berry, Carl Compton, Kylie Eads, Charles and Christopher Jones and Andrew Moss all worked hard and accomplished much; and seniors Vickie Bond, Charles Case and Debbie Boggs …well…let’s just say, we survived! Til next time…
The cadets who attended NESA in Indiana have been highlighted in the Friday (15 Aug) edition of the Charleston Daily Mail. Check it out at http://dailymail.com/News/Kanawha/200808150262.
Good evening to everyone.
I hope that things have been going well with our Wreaths Across America campaign for each of you.
I know for a fact that we have already obtained donations for several wreaths and that the word is spreading about our plan. Please continue to get the information out there so people know what we are doing.
If you have any questions that you feel others might benefit from too, please feel free to post them here and we can find answers for the entire group.
